I just want to clarify that I am NOT a professionally trained nail technician or a nail expert. I have trained myself through personal research into nails, nail products and associated techniques.

I decided to start using CND Shellac after I was fed up of paying for a gel polish manicure and afterwards being convinced that I could do it much better myself. I have therefore purchased the CND products with the intention of purely personal use.

As you may read in this blog, sometimes close friends or family ask if I will do their nails for them too. So I would just like to state that they are all fully aware that I am not a trained nail professional and am thus completely self taught.
